Another project sitting on the beachfront of the Atlantic Ocean subject to extreme climates and requiring the stringent performance under Miami-Dade’s NOA Hurricane codes.

This gorgeous monolithic look was achieved with fully fabricated returns and picture framing the curtainwall with ‘Whitewood’ Natural Stone (1/4” thickness) on HyComb’s Cladding (3/4” thick backer) system. The overall finished appearance looks to be 6” thick slabs of stone suspended from the building without the heavy framing required! System averages around 6.5-8 psf with clips and track.

One of HyComb’s early installations that has now weathered numerous hurricanes, relentless rain and wind off the ocean, saltwater exposure, and remains as stunning as the day it was installed.
